Paintings of animals

The paintings below are examples of domestic and animals of the wild

This painting is titled "Sisters"

The cats are from the same litter and we call them twins. They were only about four to five weeks old, very sick and scheduled to  euthanized. We adopted them and with assistance from a local vet they are now approaching eight years of age, very healthy, and as lovable as anyone could ask for

Assateaque Twins

This painting is my impression Assateaque Island ponies. The island between Maryland and Virginia is well known for the ponies that live on the island and often share the beach with vacationers

Buddies

This painting is my impression of two deer grazing in a snowy area by a flowing stream. One deer stands watch as the other feeds on grass poking through the snow

Stretch Run

This painting is based on a the 2018 Preakness in Baltimore, Maryland. It was rainy on race day. I attempted to capture the horses as they rounded the final turn and galloped through the mud and fog toward the finish line
